    Kerr's Pink, Epicures an Up-to-Dates. I often heard of potato-starch been used for muslin curtains, the raw potato was grated into a vessel, what you grate was put into a cloth and squeezed, then you put boiling water on the squeezed substance, and by washing the curtains in that they got stiff when dried, the same as ordinary starch would affect them.
