- There lived in Harristown a boy who was very poor. One rainy day as he was coming home from school he went in to a smith's forge for shelter from the rain. Whilst the young boy was in side the smith was at work making shoes. On the fire was a red iron. The smith told the boy he would give him a shilling if he would lick "it".(continues on next page)
