- A leaf of a dandelion is a cure for asthma when it is chewed and the juice drunken. A sting of a nettle is cured by the juice of a dock leaf.
Rub the sap of a dandelion on a ward and it will cure it in less than a month. There is a well, in Ferrybank called Mollyhoys Well, and if you drink the water thats in it it will cure consumption. Eat boiled nettles and it will cure consumption.- Collector
