The last of the SS Silk-stone.
It was in the year 1882 that the SS Silkstone sunk. After discharging her cargo of coal the ship was preparing to leave port when the accident happened. The ship was turning when the captain lost control of her
She backed into the SS Reignal and went down. When the salvers went to blow her up, they put too much powder down and when the blast went off, it broke all the windows on the quay- Collector
