anything to banish the beetles that swarmed the dining-room palace. The youth said he would do something As soon as the dinner was served he was surpised to see the beautiful table coloured with beetles. He asked permission to go outside and off he went to a pond where he found plenty of frogs He played away and by his music led all the frogs up to the palace where they gobbled up all the frogs When the beetles disappeared he played the same tune to send the frogs back to the pond. The king was so grateful he appointed the boy his grand vizier and gave him jewels and plenty of money. From that time his fortune was made.
