    For spine disease they used to give the animal an equal mixture of common salt, soot, and Garlic made into thick paste put it into a cloth and put it on the animals tail.
    For a sore throat they used to get garlic, put it into a cloth and put it to your throat.
    A cure for goitre is to get the seed of the nettle and take it with jam.
    A cure for a sow after having bonhams is to boil the Blessed thistle in milk and give it to her to drink.
    Cure for a scour boil flour and water.
    Anothe cure for scour was to borrow three duckeggs from their neighbour and give them to the Animal
