   he was arrested and he was brought to Kilkenny and Sean was found guilty and the money was found in a box hidden in the wall. Sean was sentenced to be hanged. The night before he was excuted and as it was customary to put the coffin with the condemned man. He tore a splinter from the coffin and drove it in through his ear and out in the other and he died from the effects. It is told that he committed sucide.
