  1. Warts
    1. One cure for warts is to rub a wheaten straw to them making the sign of the cross on them and then throw the straw over your right shoulder.
    2. If you could steal a bit of bacon and rub it to the warts and tie it on the thorn of a bush and when the bacon would wither the warts would go away.
    3. To stick a pin in the warts and reden the pin and the pin burns the roots out of the warts.
    4. To put your fasting spit on the warts and rub a bit of washing soda on them.
    5. Get a certain weed that grows in loughs and rub it to holy water and rub it the warts and then throw it over your right shoulder.
    6. Cut the warts and draw the blood with a bit of an eggshell.
    7. Tie a hair around the warts and leave it alone until it falls off.
    Ringworm
    1. To paint it with iodine.
    2. To rub lard and sulphur on it.
