The old people used to call it "Boreen an Aifrenn." That is the boreen of the Mass. - There is a rath (or fort as it is generally called) quite near our place on Mr. Millea's farm.
It consists of four rings, beautifully round and very evenly made. Mr Millea used to tell many stories of his experiences with this rath. He heard lovely music there every night at a certain hour and(continues on next page)- Collector
