    One day he was proceeding to pay out, as usual, but robbers lay in wait. As he was passing a certain field one robber named Roe jumped out and stopped the horses. the other robbers fired and killed Mr. Prim, the policeman, and Roe. Then they decamped with the money, which was all in coppers.
    They set off for Carrick-on-Suir and from that went to Queenstown, now know as Cobh, where
