  1. There was a man living in the village of Dunamaggan named Patrick Walsh.
    He did a great deal of good for his men in the Black and Tan times, and he was in jail in Waterford for three months. On his release he again joined the ranks of the I.R.A.
    Himself and John Quinn missed the ambush, and they were crossing the road at Tubrid (near Freshford)
