Freddie Travers - A Hero 25th November 1937
One day as I was walking out the road I saw a few men with a gun. They put a card on the wall and fired at it.
Jim O'Neill was the only fellow to hit it. In his young days he won a gold cup.
They put a 10/ (shilling) note for the next round but it was all the same to them. Jim won all the time so they lost all their money. Jim won 3£ that day.
Jim was in the old I.R.A. IN 1916. He was captain of the I.R.A. One day while he was fighting he got a wound in the head(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
