  1. Once upon a time a very small, peculiar, strange-looking woman travelled around from place to place always pretending she could cure sick children and cattle. She carried a pack on her back, but no one ever got to find out what was in it.
    Everybody dreaded her going in to the house, as the people knew she could overlook children if she did not get money. It happened in several cases that children had to be brought to the priest after her visit. Frequently, she was brought back to the house and the people tried to compel her to say
