    speak can I give you a life". Your money or your life" said the giant, "or your name and address". The poet asked him for the loan of a pencil to write his name. When he was giving him the pencil the giant said "Is that thunder I hear" "no", said the man, it is the sound of horses hoofs, to rescue me". When the giant heard this (he did nothing only) raced back to his home and the poet got away.
    When he was just home the horse threw the giant into a loch of muddy water, and when he got out the horse was gone. He cheered himself up agian by singing:-
    "Farewell farewell my faithless horse.
    Rejoicing to be safe and sound"
