Thirty five years ago there was a great storm but it did not do any damage it only knocked down a good many trees and they fell across the road and stopped cars.

- The twenty forth of January ninteen seventeen there was a big snow. It was three feet high on the road & in places where it drifted it was about five or six feet high. In ninteen thirty two the places were flooded about twenty yards long, and two feet deep.
