    Broomfield old chapel was built about the year 1772
    The old name for this catholic church was Na Callógaí.
    Later on when the church was slated, the name was changed to Cor na Sglataí.
    Broomfield Catholic Church was built - completed in the year 1900. It was consecrated on St. Patick's Day 1901.
    The present school in Broomfield was built in the year 1848 and the teachers residence was built in the year 1877.
    The teacher's residence in Broomfield (in which present teacher resides) was built in the year 1877. (on the Bath estate).
    Frank Walsh's (Drumganis) house, was built in the year 1937.
    Frank Mc Kenna's house, Drumganis was built in the year 1935.
    Miss Nellie Mc Cradle's house, Taplagh was built in the year 1923 by Eddie Gartlan of Cornamuckla.
