The cure for a headache was to get a woman from the district, and get her to put her hand on the person's forehead, one of the back of the person's head and say prayers. Whooping Cough.
The cure for the whooping cough was, to drink out of the skull taken from a graveyard. Another cure is the use of milk left over by a ferret. Warts.
The cure for warts was, to get as many rushes as there were warts on your hands, bury the rushes under clay, and according as the rushes withered the warts withered. Another cure is to get a snail unexpectedly and rub it three times on each wart and stick it(continues on next page)
