    it nine goose - berry thorns would be taken and pointed at it. The person making the cure would have to have his father and mother alive and while pointing the thorns to it he would say "In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost.
    Some people say a good cure for a wart is to rub a snail to it and to hang the snail on a bush and according as the snail withers away the wart will do likewise Another cure is to wash the wart in water separating two townlands. This was done in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
