    your eye on him he could not get away but if you once took your eye off him he would disappear for ever. If you caught a fairy and tied him with a strong chain he would break it and if you tied him with a woollen thread he could not get away. There was a man long ago and he ploughed a fort and his stock all died except a sow. He went to a fortune teller and he told him that the sow would be dead when he would go home and he told him to stop ploughing the fort and the man did so and the animals stopped dying.
