in the Winter time. He came into the house at dark and got his tea. When he had it finished he went out again intending to stay out until he had it finished. When twelve o'clock came the fairies came into the field and began to say to one another "here he is" "here he is". He began to get afraid and soon he had to go home. On entering the house he told my father what had happened also saying he would never go out late at night again.
