    the neighbour must be of course be wealthy. The churn is kept for a few days and luck will change as a result.
    On this day Holy Water is blessed and farmers or their wives take home a bottle of it from the local church. It is used to bless the crops on the farm.
    Easter-Sunday
    On Easter-Sunday the children light a fire outside and make a "feast". They light a fire with sticks and boil eggs and make tea and all eat around the fire.
    LOCAL CURES
    A Strain. Mrs Clarke of Drumagelvin is said to have the cure of the strain. People who strain their limbs go to her for the cure. Some people would bring greyhounds or horses suffering from strain to be cured. Mrs Clarke rubs the affected part and says some prayer while doing so. The injured person must visit her three times on successive days.
