    have been made at an earlier date and all that I can find out about its existance is that an instrument which is said to have been used in their manufacture is to be found in some houses in the district still. This article called a cam (I give its name in Irish) was about nine inches long and about four inches wide and was oval in shape. It was made of some kind of metal and sat on three legs. Its height when standing was about four inches. This article was evidently intended to melt the resin candles but how the candle was made I have not been able to find out but the Resin Candle is still
