    When the cat is observed to “wash her face” as it is called here and when at the time of doing so she is seen to put her paw behind her ear instead of just around the face, this circumstance is also looked upon as a sign of wet weather coming.
    When there is a wide ring around the moon it is a sign that rain is near at hand.
