    Somewhere between Inagh and Ennistymon a ghost used to appear in a lonely valley and she used to attack anybody who happened to come alone through the valley late at night.

"Ah that damned you all right," said the priest. "Well now" said he "I command you to go off without hurting man or beast in Cill Suopain and stay there until the Day of Judgement. "I am after spending seven years here," said she. The priest mentioned some other place and told her to go there. "I have spent seven years there too." "Well then" said the priest. "You will have to go to the [?]." "Ah," said she, to the man. "I was a fool that I did not finish you last night." With that she vanished out of their sight in a flash of lightning and she was never seen in Inagh since.
