One of the worst offender in this respect was a young chap named Flannagan. One night this young fellow was coming home from his cuairt and as he was approaching his own house he saw the ghost coming towards him in the form of a dog and from its appearance he could tell that it was about to attack him. He got terrified so he cursed the ghost and commanded it to get into Oilean-zearr lake and stay there until the Day of Judgment. The ghost disappeared in a flash of fire and was never seen again but Oilean-zearr lake has a sinister reputation ever since.- Collector
