    -spoonfulls of Composition Essence, strain this and drink it hot.
    Ointment can be made from a certain herbs, those are:- Yarrow, Wild Forget-me-nots, Bay leaves, Forum, and Daisy roots. When these ingredients are stewed with a little water and a tiny bit of Margarine, the ointment is made, but it should be left at least a week to set. It is very useful for boils and pimples of every description, but it must be made in the month of May, as this is the only month of the year in which all the herbs required can be got.
    Violet leaves have lately been recommended for cancer. Marigold and Peppermint are very beneficial for measles, convulsions and fevers, while Rosemary is a strong and gentle stimulant and useful in nervous affections, dizziness, fainting and heart diseases, also for asthma. Another useful herb is :- Thyme, which infusion is given in attacks of wind, spasm, colic and to promote perspiration in the commencement of a cold.
    Chapped hands can be cured by the following lotion:- 5oz distilled extract of Hazel
