- If a person has a sore on any part of his body, a dog may be allowed to lick it, and it will be cured.
Old women cured warts by filling a little bag with stones. The person was to keep this bag and say a prayer every day until the wart was gone.
They also cured skin disease with lotion which they made from little herbs. For ear discharging a roasted onion was used like a poultice.
For the heat of blood old people boiled dandoline and drank the water. They also boiled nettles and eat them.
The whooping cough was cured by inhailing the fumes of hot tar, or by visiting a gas house- Collector
