of the hospital is reputed to be haunted."
Some people fainted, when they saw the ghost of a soldier, dressed in the British uniform, at the barrack Gates, some years ago. They also saw a lady dressed in a voluminous white frock. It is said that these ghosts pay a visit to the same place, occasionally.
Some years ago, an old lady was returning home. It was nigh on midnight and she had to pass De Burghs ion her homeward journey. When she came to the large iron gates a tall headless man appeared, - as if from nowhere. He walked beside her till they reached the end of the wall, and he walked through it then, and vanished into this air. He was dressed in black.
The lady was not scared, but she went her way.
