    there is a cross cut out on the grass about two miles down this road is called the Lough Road.
    The New Road.
    It leads from the School Road to the Rynn Road. It was made in 1936 and gave a lot of employment.
    The Rynn Road.
    This road leads from the School Road to the New Line.
    The Chapel Road.
    This is a mountain road. It leads from the village of Rosenallis to the Cathole Road. This road was cut during the Famine times. The workers' wages were two pence with some "yellow mean", or else four pence without the "yellow meal" a day. Tom Knight, who is dead now of course, worked at it.
    The Green Road.
    It leads from the Chapel Road to Tinnahinch Bridge. It was made during the Famine times also.
    Lacken Lane.
    This leads from the Dublin - Birr Road to the Green Road.

    It leads from the Dublin - Birr road to the
