    "THE RED BOG" it is common.
    "JORDONS HOLLOW" is a hollow on the read which runs through Meelick.
    "THE SCRUB" a field packed with furzes.
    "THE BONE" is a dividing bank between two fields.
    "THE ROOKERY" is a small grove.
    ROSENALLIS;
    "THE SLANG" a place with big rocks, Goodwins owns it.
    "THE GREEN GARDEN" a small green field on the side of the village. Pooles own it.
    TINEEL;
    The bloody stripe" is a field where a battle was fought in 1798. Barrels of guns and battle axes were found there, John Conroy owns it.
