    The Magpie is a very peculiar kind of a bird, she is able to show signs to us of our future fortunes. It is said, if we meet one Magpie on the road, we will have an unlucky day.
    The colour of the Magpie is black and white.
    Wild ducks live on the water and when the very cold weather comes, they fly in-land.
    One day I and my brother came upon a score of young ducks in river Barrow. We caught them in a basket and brought them home, and put them in a pump trough, which was half full of water. They stayed around our yard for a month, until one morning they disappeared. I searched, but could
