- (continued from previous page)was Edward Dunne. He could tell a story with the pack of cards. He said the 52 cards were the 52 Sundays of the year. He said it reminded him of his prayer book and he could place the Sundays in their order.
- There was a great mower in the Pike, about 20 years ago. He could mow an acre of hay in the day with a scythe and his name was Michael Wheeler.
