There was an old mill on the farm of Daniel Sawyer Rush Hall in which mass was celebrated in the penal days. Mr Collier said he got this information from his grandfather that he attended mass in the old mill in 1798. Also mass was celebrated in the mass pit in Mannin about the same date.- Collector

- Mrs Collier of Mannin has a good cure for warts. The way she does it is she sends the person out to the straw and tells them to bring in a straw. She puts the end of the straw on the wart and she says some words over it and the(continues on next page)
