at the back of our house there is a Mass rock where the priest said mass long ago. One man that said mass was Father Phelan. Some nights he stopped in a hut in the Pike bogs and on Sunday morning he said mass in Carroll's field. Often the people hid around the sand pit in the Pike bog and often there was mass said there.
