    Their request is was to find out the Boy
    But the hour it was not decreed

    The traitor to rebel
    And his Lord Master sell
    It was Pilate that should strike the heavy blow
    But should Pilate rise again to emulate his trail
    And the fruits of our industry to squeeze
    For to decompose the earth
    And obstruct our joy and mirth
    And lacerate our young man by degrees
    But our Saviour was denied
    And for us Crucified
    And on Calvary with soldiers was arrayed
    Then why should I regret
    The fatal blow of death
    When the Saviour of the world was betrayed
