  1. (continued from previous page)
    Farewell dear brothers and sisters
Since from you I must part
    To leave my loving Mother
    It nearly breaks my heart
    But I will soon return
So do not sigh or moan
and I'll live with you while life remain
In my dear old Killeen home.
    Farewell unto your mountains
    Your lively groves and plains
    Likewise your crystal fountains
    Your ivies walls and streams
Each night when I go to my bed
My thoughts do seem to roam
    Across the broad Atlantic
'Round my dear old Killeen home.
So now to conclude those verses
I think I'll say no more
Until I return back to Erin's verdant shore
Where I will go to meet my friends and see them one all
And live around my native places.
