- A Story is told of a man who went asleep in a ditch, one day. After a long time he awoke, and he did not feel well. He was very hungry also. He rose, and went home for supper, in order to appease his appetite. He eat for a very long time, but it was all no use, the more he eat, the more he wanted, time went on, and the more he eat, the thinner he became.
He went to every doctor he knew, but none of them could cure him.
One day he met a man who told him to eat the saltiest things he could get, and then to hold his head over a stream, and to drink no water what so ever.
The man did as he was bid. After he had been three days at the stream, a Silver Lizard accompanied by seven young ones, crawled out of his mouth.
He was cured, and lived in peace and health ever afterwards.- Collector
