  1. The name of my home district is Knock. It in in Ballinakill parish in Co. Leix. It is in the Barony of Cullenagh.
    There are about seven families in my district. There are about forty people living in my district. The most common family name is, Foyle, Moore, and Brennan. The most of the houses are slates. There are no old people over seventy or sixty years living in my district. It is called Knock because there are many hills in Knock. No person in my district can speak Irish or tell stories in Irish or in English. There are no ruins of any old houses in Knock. Some of the people are in America. There is no song or saying about my district. The land is very hilly. There are no woods or lakes in Knock.
