  1. When making a basket you first get sally rods. Then you stick eight or ten in the ground. Then you weave small one's through the big ones till you make it the size you require. Then you make the bottom out of the top ones that are in the ground. You plait more small ones to make the handles Then you have to weave the mouth before you put in the handles.
