    The priest understood Irish and on being seated at the table he raised his hand over the cup of tea and made the sign of the Cross.
    Immediately the cup burst in pieces and spilled the contents over the table to the surprise of the other guests. The priest left the house without being harmed. Shaun na Fiacha was shot by one of the O Moores of Leix.
