- The Leipreachan is a very small man who is often called a fairy. He lives under a mushroom and spends most of his time making boots. He generally keeps a jug of beer by his side. He wears a green cloak and a tall red cap and long pointed shoes.
The Leipreachan is supposed to know where there is gold hidden and anyone who catches him may have a chance of getting the gold but he must be very clever as the Leipreachan himself is very clever and plays a great many tricks on anyone who catches him.
