    repetition of the wedding feast, but on a smaller scale. If the parties are unpopular a crowd of young men get out to blow horns to annoy them.. A bride is not to look into a mirror while dressing for her wedding, and is to wear for luck.
    "Something old and something new.
    Something borrowed and something blue."
    When invited to a wedding, people go, no matter how humble the people getting married are. This is an old tradition on account of our Blessed Lord and Mother attending the Wedding at Cana.
    Matches are still made in the country districts, and money is given according to the bridegroom's land, cattle, etc. by the bride's parents. Some furniture and bedding are also given. Although the happy pair only know each other for a short time, those marriages often prove very happy. Throwing a slipper, rice etc. are tokens of luck. Persons are invited by both parties and an enjoyable time is ensured. Strangers get to know each other; music, dancing and singing are to the order of the day; and a collection is made for
