  1. The first railway which passes by the school was made about ninety years ago. The people that worked on it used to get sixpence a day.
    The used to get stirrabout and butter mild for their breakfast, potatoes, salt and butter milk for their dinner and stirrabout and butter milk for their supper.
    The stirrabout they got that time was made with yellow meal.
