  1. There is a very old graveyard near Luggacurran. It is hundreds of years since it was used. There was a chapel there long ago but it was burned by Cromwell. About two years ago the Kavanagh's who own the field were ploughing it and they dug up the flat head stones which were over the graves at one time There are the ruins of another old church in Rathaspick graveyard. It was a Catholic graveyard and chapel. When Cromwell came he also burned this chapel. The graveyard is still used. The Catholics are buried in one half of it and the Protestants are buried in the other half. Clopook is another ancient graveyard. Cromwell also burned the church that stood in this graveyard.
