Birds When the birds pick their feathers this is a sign of rain.
Robin. When the Robin comes to the door in window it is a sure sign of snow.
Swallows.
When the swallows come down near the ground it is a sign of wet weather, and when they fly high it is a sign of fine weather.
Seagulls
When the seagulls fly near the land there is a storm at sea.
Cattle
When the cattle get up early and eat their food, and go seek shelter it is a sign of rain.
When the cattle shake their legs in the house it is also a sign of rain.
Cat
If the cat comes in and sit at the fire with her tail to the grate it is a sign of rain and hard weather
