    Pain in the Ear
    (1) Heat some oil, put on wadding and put into the ear. Leave it in until relief is noticed--
    or
    (2) Roast a small onion, peel down to fit into ear insert while still quite hot.
    or
    (3) Pour a few drops of Hot oil into the ear.
    Bleeding from Nose
    (1) Place suffer on his or her back, and put a key between the shoulders (next to the skin)
    (2) Place damp cloth on bridge of nose
    (3) Place purple paper moistened with vinegar on nose.
    Tooth Ache
    (1) If there be a hole in the tooth, pack the hole with Pepper steeped in whiskey
    (2) Again get a small piece of wadding on this pour a few drops of Iodine and pack into the tooth
    (3) Consult Dentist
