  1. It is said that in the year 1881 there was very severe Weather. It lasted for eight or nine days without stopping. It did a great amount of damage around here such as tumbling trees and houses. In the same year there was a great rainfall which is supposed to have done much damage by flooding houses, drowning animals any people. It lasted four days and four nights.
