  1. There was a house burned in Killeshin. The owner of this house was Martin Doran. This is the way it was burned. They went to bed at night and they forgot to quench the lamp. It was on the table beside the window. Then the curtain took fire and the house was burned. It happened in the spring on the second day of March in the year eighteen ninty eight
