  1. The most harmful weeds growing on the farm are, thistles, buachaláns, dock-leaf, nettles, and brioscáns. These weeds are harmful, because they spread rapidly, and also because they stop the growth of the grass, and other crops.
    A small herb, known as 'comfry', is used for rough skin or hacks. Chicken-weed when roasted is a cure for the toothache. This is usually got among the cabbage. If a person has rheumatism and if he lies on a bed of nettles,
