    it is said that he will be cured. Rib-grass is a cure for a burn. If a person is stung by a nettle, a dock-leaf will cure the pain, provided he says the following words three times: "Nettle, nettle burn, 'docken', 'docken' cure". If the seed of a dock-leaf is gathered between 15th of August and 8th of September, it may be used as a cure for a cold.
    The seed has to be boiled and made like tea.
    Chicken-weed is used as feeding for hens and pigs.
    Heather is used for dying purposes as is cockle shell moss, that grows on rocks. This moss is found mostly on the mountains.
    Every local person that used these herbs was always relieved and cured.
